Roster Role: SPOTR 9:30 Morning Tea

Please bring some milk and some biscuits/baking to share if you are able.

Please arrive plenty of time before the service to set up everything before the service starts.

Before the service:

1. Please put out cups and glasses on the kitchen bench. Cups are in a plastic crate in the SPOTR left-hand hall cupboard. (The crate is quite full so please be careful when taking it out of the cupboard).  

2. Please fill up water jug and put on kitchen bench. Please put the milk out too. 

3. Please put the hot water urn on the kitchen bench and then fill it up and switch on before the service (90 degrees). If urn is not working, please be ready to boil water in the kettle as needed.

4. Please put out coffee, tea, hot chocolate and sugar. (In the plastic drawers in kitchen).

5. Please put out spoons in a cup or bowl, an extra cup/bowl for used tea bags and used teaspoons.

6. Please put out some biscuits/baking as it arrives. There are a few packets of biscuits in the SPOTR left-hand cupboard in the hall which can also be put out if needed. These are back-up, so please only use if needed! Please leave the snacks in the kitchen for the duration of the service as Sunday school is on during the service in the hall.

After service:

Please go out to the hall during the last song to ensure everything is ready when people come in after the service.

1. Please make a few plates of snacks for the kids (maybe a little more than 1/3 of total snacks). Please put the kids snacks on the table at the back of the hall, left hand side if facing the kitchen. We also have signs in the hall cupboard (left hand side) for KOTR morning tea to just place on the table please.

If there are still heaps of snacks left on the adult table by the end of morning tea/close to end - can you please put some extra out for the kids. 

Please use any table that seems fitting to put in the middle of the hall to put out snacks for the adults. (Usually this is one of the smaller side tables in the hall, or one half of the table tennis table). If you would like to use a tablecloth, please use the grey tablecloths in the plastic draws in the kitchen.

2. Please make people feel warmly welcome as they get something to drink.

3. Please wash the dishes - please put cups out on the bench again. (Do not put away the cups - these will be used for PM service supper)

4. Please leave out the coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, tea and all other items. Please put the lids on the coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and tea.

5. Please leave out the urn on the kitchen bench. Please just ensure it is switched off at the plug.

6. Please sweep the hall and kitchen floor.

7. Please take the rubbish bag from kitchen and empty the bins in the bathrooms as well. Please take out the bag (Rubbish bins are outside at the back of the church) and please leave the same bag in the bin for us to use for the PM service.

8. Please take the used kitchen towels home and wash them and return them again the following week.

9. If the oven was used, please ensure that it is switched off again at the wall.
